Quilting friends are the best, especially when they help us shop, right?! I stopped in a quilt shop on our way home and there was a very cute 3D Santa I really wanted. They had it on display, but no pattern, no kit - so I asked. They couldn't tell me anything about it - not the kit name or the designer, and they had no patterns or kits??? They thought the designer might be from MN (where I'm from) - I'm still hunting, hoping I will find it. piecefulwendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02256164519304112032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8671331723830182656.post-62661344104521032712022-10-24T00:32:14.140-06:002022-10-24T00:32:14.140-06:00Joan, thank you for the compliment, but you are th...Joan, thank you for the compliment, but you are the quilter extraordinaire. Everything Bobbie makes is perfection!!! From her appliqué, piecing, fabric crafts and woodworking. I have known her for a very long time and we used to get together in her appliqué group once a month with a few other ladies. But Covid happened and we haven't seen each other since. I really miss our sewing time together. Hopefully one day we can meet up again and sew. That Carol is sneaky (in a very good way) putting that fabric in your bag and what a wonderful quilt you created with it! I love it! I wish I had a larger house for decorating at the various holidays, but I don't, so I really love seeing other people's decorations. I might have to start stapling my quilts on the ceiling since I have run out of wall space, lol!!!!!!!Daryl @ Patchouli Moon Studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06187456682218408410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8671331723830182656.post-36715233431493726912022-10-21T05:39:48.787-06:002022-10-21T05:39:48.787-06:00What great projects, but then we expect that from ...What great projects, but then we expect that from you:) That first quilt-I can see why your mind kept thinking of it, I'm so glad you were finally able to nail that one down!
