Polar Bear with a Twist...

It's winter critters week this week, over on the Thermoweb blog.
What says cold cold cold more than polar bears?
While this little guy may look like he is freezing, he will warm you up in no time.
This flannel pillow has a secret pocket that holds a rice bag you can pop into your microwave, for that burst of heat we are all looking for on those cold winter nights.

Using these Thermoweb products helps make any quilty projects so easy.

HeatNBond EZ Print Lite is a no trace way to applique. Just pop a sheet into your printer and hit the print button. The free pattern is printer friendly.

HeatNBond®Fusible Fleece gives that extra support and shape to your projects.

SprayNBond®Basting Adhesive keeps the backing fabric from bunching up as you quilt.

You can download the free pattern on the Thermoweb Blog

HERE

What's my favorite way to use this warm little guy????

I love sliding my freezing toes into the pocket with the rice bag.

LOL!!

Enjoy and stay warm my friends!

Tis the Season Garden Flag

I love the holidays!
"Tis the Season"
This garden flag brings lots of joy to my heart and my yard.

With a few fabrics and these Thermoweb products

HeatNBond EZ Print Lite sheets are so easy. No more tracing, just pop a sheet in your printer and hit the print button. or HeatNBond®Lite fusible web, if you love tracing.

HeatNBond®Light-Weight Fusible Interfacing fused to the back side of your fabric, gives that added support for a distort free finish.

ThermOWeb Pressing Paper or parchment paper not only protects your iron work surface, but is a must when pressing and setting the liquid vinyl.

HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl protects and waterproofs your fabrics for outdoor use.

You choose the number of coats you need.

1 coat - water and stain-resistant
2 coats - waterproof and stain-resistant
3 coats - water proof and stain-resistant with a semi-gloss oilcloth finish
It paints on easily and your brush cleans up with water.

I have a tip to share...
Acrylic paint and a stylus, makes eyes so easy to do. Just dot it on and let it dry,
before you apply the liquid vinyl.

This flag is designed to fit the 51" X 15" "Gray Bunny Garden Flag Stand" found on Amazon HERE.
The top arm swings open to allow you to easily load your flag.

No place to put a flag???
How about a door hanger? What a great way to welcome your holiday guests.

The free pattern can be found on the Thermoweb blog HERE.

May your season be filled with JOY!

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

Oh what a week it's been...
My computer crashed last week and had to go in to be repaired.
I now know,  if I was stranded on a desert island and had to make a decision between food, water, chocolate or a computer, I would likely sell my soul for the computer and a generator!
LOL!!!
It was the worst week of my life I swear. I had no idea just how connected to it I had become.

anyway...back to "Pumpkin Spice" here...

This little mini published last week of the Thermoweb blog.
Using these Thermoweb products, makes this sweet little 12"x12" mini fast and easy to make.

It's a great stash and scrap buster, too!
The FREE pattern can be found on the Thermoweb blog

The pattern is printer friendly, which makes it perfect for HeatNBond EZ Print Lite or HeatNBond®EZ Print Featherlite. It comes in two different weights, EZ Print Lite and EZ Print Featherlite for multi-layer projects.
No more tracing, just pop a sheet into your printer and hit the print button.

It's a huge time saver and you'll be stitching before you know it.

We are just a couple of weeks away from Carla's "Music" blog hop!
Oh yeah baby...I've be rehearsing my song for weeks. :-)
On second thought... maybe I'll just save you the pain and just keep on singing in the shower to myself!
But I will see you at the hop!

Toucan Tote with Thermoweb

We have Hopscotched on Toucan Watch, ringed letters and numbers in Toucan Toss, played Tic-Tac-Toe and Toucan Cornhole. Now this "Toucan Tote" bag has plenty of room for the rings and bean bags we have collected, along with the reversible activity mat and extra snacks to take along.

If you have been following my Jungle Theme "Toucan" projects you've likely seen this reversible quilt.
Now, using the leftover fabrics from this 2-sided quilt, you should have plenty to make this tote bag.
All fabric requirements are included in the free pattern for you.
Combined with these Thermoweb products you will have a sturdy tote bag that's easy to make.

 HeatNBond®Fusible Fleece

HeatNBond EZ Print Lite or HeatNBond®Lite

 HeatNBond Non-Woven Craft Fusible X-Firm 60” wide

I Craft Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive is a great way to add the handles to this bag, by keeping them straight and fused to the bag allowing you to stitch without pins. Once you get the handles placed where needed just run a bead of the adhesive down the back side of the handle and let dry for a few minutes.

SprayNBond®Basting Adhesive holds the layers of your bag front and lining together nicely, to aid in quilting each piece.

There are plenty of tips, tricks and photos in the free pattern.
Hop on over to the "Thermoweb" blog HERE and get your pattern today!

Celebrate with a Bang Garden Flag

Show off your patriotic side with this fun garden flag.
Another, in my year of flags with Thermoweb.
With a few supplies, you will be on your way.
The free pattern is HeatNBond EZ Print Lite
ready. That means no more tracing. Just pop a sheet in your printer and hit print.
Cutting lettering has never been so easy, with Crafter's Edge dies and the Crossover II die cutting machine. I absolutely love this system. It allows you to see what your cutting and takes up considerably less space the other dies.
I have included similar lettering in the pattern if you don't have these dies.
Once your appliques are cut, you just press, stitch and your ready to waterproof it
with HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl.  It paints on easily and cleans up with just water.
You can download the free pattern on the "Thermoweb" blog HERE today!

Hope your 4th of July is a blast!
