Are You Ready for some Sunshine?

I don't know about you...but I am over winter.
Last night we got almost a foot, of the white stuff.
Uggggh. I am so ready, for it to be spring.

Since the calendar isn't being all that cooperative right now...
I turned to some fun stitching.
I grabbed up some of my "Island Batik" scraps and stash and went to work.
Are these just the cutest little mug rugs?
They came from a new book "Springtime Quilts" that "Annie's Craft Store" has to offer.
Oh my goodness, what great projects are in this down loadable book.
Everyone of them makes those winter blues disappear.
(There is a link below you can use to purchase this book if your interested)

You may have noticed some changes on my blog lately.
This is year number 11 in blog-land for me. To celebrate,
I purchased my domain name.
Yes, those moose boys are doing the happy dance, over "MooseStashQuilting
being all theirs now!
My "Facebook" page has turned into a business page.
No more having to "friend" me to see what I'm up to.
You can just "Like" my page now to see my latest "quilty" related posts.
My "Pinterest" page is also a business page and much nicer to see than before.
The social media links on the right hand side bar have been updated for you.

I've made the decision to become an affiliate,
for some of the companies who's products I love and use.

What does that mean for you?
If you purchase something, on "some" of the links I provide,
I will get a small commission on the sale.
It will not cost you any more, than if you purchased it directly on their website.
But it helps me defray the costs of keeping this blog running.
By clicking on these links, you do not automatically purchase anything.
It's like anyplace else, you can see more on it, and decide for your self if your interested.

I have updated my "Disclosure" statement

You can be sure, I will always advise you when there is an affiliate link in my post.
You won't see me suggesting anything I don't use and love myself.
That...you have my word on!
Oh...and you will be seeing a lot more of "Annie's" wonderful patterns here.
Quilting, card making, knitting, crochet...they have it all.
I've long been a fan!
So, while I enjoy a little cuppa with my new mug rugs...
you can take a peek at the other fabulous projects this book has to offer.
til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'
Note: the link below is an affiliate link!

  1. Look at you, all business like. Your blog looks awesome and those mug rugs do make me smile...

  2. Cute mug rugs.
You really have jumped in the deep end with all the business stuff. Wow! Good luck taking it to the next level. Hope it all works out for you.

  3. Congrats on making the changes Joan! We are supposed to get some more snow in a day or two and like you......I am ready for spring!

  4. I love the mugrugs, those are adorable. I like Annie's also, I just wish they didn't send so much email... There ads fill my inbox and it does become tedious to always deal with it. Now, how come you didn't call me, I would have driven up for a foot of snow, we had a piddly inch of snow, not that I wasn't grateful for it, but.. I wanna dig my feet into a foot of snow sooooooooooooooooooooo badly :p~

  5. Great mug rugs! And good for you for braving the mysteries of changing things on your social media - you're definitely brave!!

Thanks for stopping by today. Your comments really do make me day!
