Don't Worry...Bee Happy

I have always been captivated with "barn quilts" but I have nowhere to put one.

With the advent of  HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl my problem was solved.
I can make waterproof garden quilt/flags.
I have lots of room in my yard for flags and I found the perfect stand...
This is  “Gray Bunny Garden Flag Stand” from Amazon. It is 51” X 15”. The top arm swings open to allow you to load your flag. That holds a really nice size flag and great for changing them out montly, seasonally, or whenever the spirit moves us.

A few simple supplies and your on your way!
I love using my Crafters Edge dies. Lettering has never been so easy.

You can download my free tutorial and pattern over on the ThermOWeb blog
If I have you hooked, you can find this cool flag stand
HERE for under $20.
Oh, and keep in mind I may have suggested more to come soon!
LOL!!
What holiday is approaching?
Hint, hint, winky, winky!

Keep in mind flags are two sided, if they can be seen from both sides. If not, you can easily put a plain backing on them...or you can back it with a completely different flag. Oh the possibilities.
Think about that for awhile, and I will see you again soon, on the ThermOWeb blog!

Orange You Glad Blog Hop

Orange you glad Carla hosted this fun hop?

Well, I sure am...my sewing room has been a mess.  Looking for things can be a lesson in futility, some days!  It's the little stuff, that seems to get lost in "OZ".

So I got busy and put together this fun bag, called "A Place for Everything", from byAnnie.com

This 10" x 13 1/2" x 4" bag has pockets....lots and lots of pockets.
4 different styles you can mix and match to your liking.

The pockets attach using hook and loop tape, making them easy to remove.

It's perfect not only for home, but for when we can sneak away on retreats and classes.

Did you happen to spy my headlamp?
Don't laugh...this has been a lifesaver, when I needed it.
Where else can you get an extra shot of light for under a buck?
Ok, I may look like a "Minion"...
...but you gotta love WalMart!
It's in the camping department.

In addition to all my sewing supplies, I found a little mat that fit perfectly, long with rulers and templates, extra fusible web, applique sheet. Just about everything I could think of, that I might need.

Thanks to "Crafters Edge", personalizing my bag was it was easy to do.

This is a little "subliminal" message to myself...

...I "LOVE my new bag and "HOPE" it keeps me organized.

This pattern has been in my "stash" for a very very long time...like maybe since 2013!
They have since updated the pattern and added fun new things. It's bigger, has shoulder straps, and pockets on the outside. Oh, it looks like I need to purchase the new updated version. LOL!!
You can check it out for yourself

Orange I happy?

Why, yes I am and with the little extra leftover fabric I quilted for my bag,
I even made a couple of accessory bags. My rotary cutter and scissors are now safely stored!

A big thanks to you Carla, for getting me on track, to organization!

Please visit my fellow bloggers today and leave them some juicy sweet comments!

We've seen her house and her daughter, so this month shes' showing up to delight us.
This block is a combination of pieced and fusible, with a little embroidery thrown into the mix.

This is "Uncle Mortys Place"

from Carol Swift, is possibly my most favorite block yet.
