Born to be Wild Blog Hop

It's my day to share, in the "Born to be Wild" blog hop.

This month's theme brings up all kinds of images in my mind. If you read my post the other day, you saw what the wildlife in my house looks like these days! LOL!!

"Sew" for this hop, I turned to "Sew Cute Critters" by Cindy Taylor Oates for my project.

These little critters in their "wild" colors just make me smile.

There is "Sunny" the Squirrel

"Bella" the Bunny

"Fenwick" the Fox

"Finn" the Frog

"Ryker" the Raccoon

"Kallie" the Kitty

"Maya" the Mouse

"Pierre" the Puppy

"Miles" the Monkey

"Gordon" the Giraffe

"Brody" the Bear

"Olivia" the Owl

As I was framing the blocks in my photo program, I couldn't help but think, what a fun nursery set these guys would be.  Individual blocks framed on the walls and the quilt on the crib.
Oh my mind is spinning now....That's what these hops do to us.
LOL!!
Maybe the next "Grandie"...
But until then, it's all about this little "Sweet Pea" and me.

A big round of applause to Carol, at "Just Let Me Quilt" for  inspiring us all to reach for the "wild" we were born to be.

What I can share, is this "WILD" one, the apple of her Nana's eye.

Lets Try it Again

I am so sorry for the duplicate emails that didn't work yesterday.  All this technology stuff just boggles my mind, don't they know I'm old???

Anyway, after a couple of hours today, I do think "Mailchimp" and I have finally made friends.

I have a little "housekeeping" that is required from time to time.
For this email move, I chose "MailChimp" to replace "Feedburner" that is going away July 1,2021.
As of May 25, 2018 GDPR became part of our lives.
It's a privacy law that regulates the processing of personnel data online.
I rolled over my current list of subscribers, to the new provider.
To my knowledge, I have not shared any of your personnel information in any other way.
If you are receiving my emails it is because you signed up for them and responded to an email from the  provider, approving the receiving of them. There is an "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of each email my blog generates.

Whew...now that, that is out of the way, I hope you all found your way over to the new blocks for our Cackling Stitches free BOM yesterday. The links are in my last blog post if you haven't.

You know I have joined Carol "Just Let Me Quilt" and Carla "Creatin' in the Sticks" in hosting blog hops. Did you know we have started to put our heads together,  and come up with some themes early?

I announced the "Fairy Tales Hop" last week, and the response has been wonderful.
There are still a few spaces left, if you would like to join us.
Send me an email with "Fairy Tales Blog Hop" in the subject line

Easy peasy!

Carol is hosting July with "It's a Guy Thing"!

Carla will be hosting August, and a little birdie told me what she was thinking about, but I will let her share that information with you first.
"Wink Wink"
September I'll be hosting the "I'm falling for You Blog Hop"
There are so many things that come to mind.

You know I can "fall" upstairs,
"fall" over my feet,
"fall" in love with the "fall"
"fall" for those silly moose boys

What do you fall for?
You have plenty of time to think on it.
Signups won't start on this one until late July, but you can start planning and stitching now.
LOL!!
October...Carol is going to be hosting the "bestest" Halloween hop of the year.
You don't want to miss that.

November and December are still TBA.
We will share them as soon as possible.
Until then, I think you have plenty of homework to do for now.
hahahaha
We were just talking about how much we love our blog hoppers! So many fun projects, inspiration and eye candy galore! It's folks like you, that bring out the best in all of us!
