It's a "Wild" Life BOM

It's June 1 and there's a new block to share.
This month our friend Pat from "Life in the Scrapatch"
has done a stellar job, on this new block.
Don't "whooooooo" agree with me?
:-)
If this isn't just the cutest thing I've ever seen!
I did make one little change, from Pat's design.
I  love me "some" mushrooms, not only to eat but to hunt for.
So I made a little "mushroom" forest on my block.
It was an easy change using the bush pattern pieces.

If you think I'm kidding about loving mushrooms...
 Here's some proof!  LOL!!
Oh and these are definitely "NOT" for eating!
Just a few of my many mushroom photos.
You can't find "shrooms" like these around here...
Nope, I have to visit my Alaska friends to get photos like these.
Just another reason, why I love Alaska!
:-)
Ok...I got a little excited and side tracked. Must be time for another trip!
You can find Pat's fabulous addition to "Wild Life"
Remember it's free for the month of June only.
After that it will be available for a small fee.
I'm loving where this BOM is going!

A big shout out to "Island Batik" for sponsoring me with these gorgeous fabrics.
They are all from the basics and blenders line, which is available all the time.
No more searching for "just a little more" to finish a project.

Thanks to Amy at "Sew Incredibly Crazy" for hosting this BOM
You can find links to all the blocks

A big thanks to my fellow designers

Carol from "Just Let Me Quilt"

Make sure you post your finished block on our Facebook page.
There are monthly prizes we draw for!

One more thing...
I was blown away with all the "Bear Paw" blocks you
 stitched and shared last month.
Give yourself a big round of applause, cause you knocked it out of the ball park!
You all "ROCK"

til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'

  2. Great block, and the mushrooms are awesome. I see lupine leaves near one. Definitely not something I see around here.

  4. I love to photograph mushrooms and fungus. We had some crazy ones in our yard in Virginia. We even had phallus mushrooms. They were really bizarre to see. LOL.
