It's "Sweet Treats" week at Thermoweb and with Valentines day just a week away,
what better time to start thinking about your "Sweetie"?
This little mug rug is the perfect size for a "cuppa" and a little treat.
The back is waterproofed with HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl, that way your top absorbs any spills but the backing protects your furniture.
For more
protection you can add up to 3 layers, letting it dry in between each one.
One
coat: Fabric is water and stain-resistant.
Two coats: Fabric is waterproof and
stain-resistant.
Three coats: Fabric is waterproof and stain-resistant with a
semi-gloss oilcloth finish

It is printer friendly using HeatNBond EZ Print Lite fusible sheets.
Just cut pieces apart and fuse the the reverse side of your fabrics.
I love using HeatNBond®Fusible Fleece on projects like this.
It gives that little extra "firmness" that makes table toppers, runner, and mug rugs lay so nicely.
Check it out and download your free pattern on the Thermoweb blog today!
Happy Valentines/Galentines Day, early!
til next time...

That's adorable, Joan! I never thought about using the vinyl on the back of a mug rug. You're a genius, my friend! LOL I love that fusible fleece for small projects too!

ReplyDeleteQuite a cute one this time. Shame it can't stop us spilling things in the first place. Or is that just me?
