When Quilts Inspire

I just had to pop in and share this quilt, my friend and soon to be "in-law" made.
Is this just the cutest thing?
Her sister had a couple of pet frogs when they were growing up...
Fred and Frieda.
So, for her 50th birthday she made her this quilt.

Back in 2019, I made a frog quilt for the "Nifty Novelties" blog hop.

It was such a fun way to use all those novelty bug prints, I had been collecting
My inspiration come from none other than a free coloring page I found online.
You can read more on it and find the link to the coloring page HERE.

My quilt was made with my pond in mine. In fact "Bully" was my inspiration!

This big guy has hung out in my pond for 5-6 years now. I have no idea where frogs go, during the winter, but every spring he was back. Sadly he passed away a couple of months ago.
RIP big guy, I'm going to miss you scaring me to death when you jump and I'm not expecting it!
LOL!!

til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'
