Here Fishy Fishy

How do you like your fish?
Fried, baked, cut out of hand dye fabrics???

These fun guys were easy to make with the new tumbler die from "Crafters Edge"

And  "SprayNBond®Basting Adhesive" from Thermoweb.

The "secret sauce" to these fish, are using various tones of the same colors.

Check out my tutorial over on the Thermoweb blog

I love "Crafters Edge" dies, because you can see exactly where you are placing them
on your fabrics before you cut.
You can use them in the Crossover II cutter and

...they work in the Accuquilt GO cutter as well.

With 5 different sizes included in the set, there are so many possibilities.

No matter if your enjoying it outdoors...

...or inside, there is fishy good fun to be had!

til next time...
Keep on Fishin' Stitchin'

  1. This is cute as can be using those tumblers...love it!

  2. Those fish are SEW cute!!! And from Tumblers! Love it!

  3. Such cute fishies! So glad you showed this using the adapter for the AccuQuilt!

  4. I love the fun in this quilt. Great way to cut the shapes as well. Should look good next to your pond!

  5. Cut from hand-dyed fabric, of course!! These are some super fun fish!

  6. Love fishy fishy. I have a fishy quilt in the works...we'll see when it gets done but yours is a faster one!

  7. That is awesome! Love how the fishes "appear" when you use those colors. This is such a great idea, and thank you for the introduction to the product, too! I'm headed over to see your post over there....

  8. Soooooo cute! Love the bright colors!

  9. I like the Crafter's edge dies! Have you tried the 1/2 square triangles or the 1/4 square triangles? I have and have had trouble getting them the correct size, even with a very very scant 1/4 seam. Any suggections? Thanks

  10. Adorable! And you used the accuquilt for it?? I like mine raw on a little ball of rice or in a roll!!

Thanks for stopping by today. Your comments really do make me day!
