Hagatha's House BOM

March 1 has arrived and Hagatha is taking her inaugural ride!

This is Hagatha's House!

My friend Carol Swift from "Just Let Me Quilt" and I are hosting
a 6 month long BOM

Blocks are free for the month they are released.
After that they will be available for a small fee in our Etsy shops.

We have incorporated a few different techniques in this BOM, because it's always fun to learn something new. Hagatha's House uses a reverse applique method. I have written a tutorial to walk you through the steps.
 You can download it
If your really uncomfortable with it, traditional fusible applique works just fine.
Remember, there are no rules here. It's your quilt and we do not allow the "Quilt Police" in our group.
Just have fun and make it your own!

Please join our Facebook group and share your blocks with everyone.
We love seeing your blocks!

Hop on over and visit Carol at "Just Let Me Quilt"
and see her Wickedly fun house.

til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'

  1. I love it - such a brilliant haunted house! Thank you for the block and the reverse applique tutorial - I've tried it once before, but this looks different and I look forward to trying your method. Stay safe and healthy.

  5. I’ve begun cutting the house and wonder what you used to join the four segments. Everything stopped around here only to start a new project. Do I need another Halloween quilt? No. Do I want to join the fun? Yes.Thanks so much.
