Give Thanks

With November rapidly approaching, our thoughts are turning on being thankful.
This new garden flag, expresses just that.

These flags are so easy, when using "Crafter's Edge" Alphabet dies and
Rounded Dresden dies.
I love their Crossover II cutting machine, with the multiple pressure settings on it,
but did you know...
these dies can be used in an Accuquilt GO cutter with a conversion plate.
Oh...and all their dies are on sale until the end of the month for 20% off.
Once you add your dies to the shopping cart and go to the checkout,
you will see the discount.
Better hurry if you are interested, there are only a few days left!

Thermoweb products make the construction of the flag a breeze...
get it flag, breeze. OK, I'll keep my day job!
But seriously...using HeatNBond projects make it so easy.
The pattern is printer friendly. If you hate tracing you will love
You just pop a sheet into your printer and print all your applique designs.
Then to keep your flag weather and waterproof, just paint
HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl on your project.

This series of flags are designed using the "Gray Bunny Garden Flag Stand". It's a nice tall 51" x 15' wide stand, you can find on Amazon HERE for under $20.

You can find the free pattern on the Thermoweb blog

Ghastly Ghouls Blog Hop

If it's "creepy" and it's "spooky", it has to be Carol's "Ghastly Ghouls" blog hop time.
You likely know that Carol, Carla and I, are all Halloween crazy and lets just say...
this time of the year...well you know!
Thanks Carol, for bringing out the kid, in all of us.

Did that scare the "bejeebers" out of you?

Possibly this "Ghost"...

or "Bat" would do the trick!

When they are combined they are all together 'ooky, don't you agree?
This is one of Angie's patterns from her "Applique Garden " website.
There are always 6 or 7 quilts going on at a time and new blocks
 are released weekly.
She has such fun patterns, that I have subscribed to it for years.

You can check it out for yourself  HERE.

With it being the "Ghastly Ghouls" blog hop, I do have a little giveaway.

You may remember that I went "Java Jacket" crazy last month over on the
"Thermoweb" blog.

This one, done in my favorite "Ghastly" fabric, just begged to be given
away during this hop. Leave me a comment, telling me your most "Ghastly" Halloween  delight, and I will pick one winner,
Sunday Oct 31st.
I'm just sending the "jacket", because it fits in an envelope, so this time even if your international you can participate in the drawing.
You can find my post with a free pattern for these jackets HERE

Now be off with you, to visit my fellow "Ghastly Ghouls" bloggers and see what trouble they are stirring up today!

Pumpkin Potholders

"Perpetually Possessed Pumpkin Potholders"
Bet you can't say that fast 5 times.

These possessed guys stitch up fast and have a pocket at the top to protect your fingers.
So, they aren't so bad, after all!
This is a "Wicked Wednesday" project on our "Cackling Stitches Group" on Facebook.
It's just one of those little perks we like to throw in from time to time.
If your already a member, you download the pattern while it is free.
If you are not a member, you can find them in my Etsy shop

Or join our group  HERE

Be sure to post your "possessed potholders" when they are done on our Facebook page.

It's a Wrap for the I'm Falling for You blog hop

I hope you didn't miss any of the incredible posts my fellow bloggers and I shared this week.
Yesterday we were dazzled by Susan's "Rain Chains" table runner and placemats. She combined a modern looks with warm fall colors. Perfection!
Our combined Susan and Sharon team known as "Ms P Designs USA" delighted us with the cutest fall coasters with sunflowers and scarecrows.
Lianne, turned to a beautiful Lori Holt project. While it's spring where she lives, she inspired us all with this beauty.
Leah had 2 big finishes, one has been in the works for awhile and one was a quickie...so she said. LOL!  They both are spectacular. I want to quilt like she does when I grow up! ;-)
And lastly I shared my "Pineapple Crazy" quilt that I have been crazily piecing this summer.

With our temperatures are starting to fall, I know we are all excited to get back
into our sewing rooms. I have so many ideas! Now, if only I could clone myself
to get them all done.
LOL!!

Please join me in giving a big round of applause to everyone who participated.
You rocked the theme, and inspired us, all!

For those who may have missed it, you can find the link to all the bloggers

Or you can visit our hop Pinterest page

But don't put down your readers and needles and thread just yet...
Next month Carol is hosting her OUR favorite hop of the year!
Yep, your blog hosts here, Carol, Carla and I, are just coo-coo over Halloween!
Drop Carol a note if you want to play along

When I say coo-coo, I really mean it. We have a Facebook group
that we have just finished designing next years, free BOM for.
If you haven't done so yet, join us...it promises to be a Ghastly experience!
LOL!!
Wicked Wednesdays are making their return as well.
You should see what Carol just designed for it this week!

November is just a quick little project, because we are all buried in holiday stitching by then!
Carla is your host for this one. Come on, even if you never blog hop...
You can whip up a little mug rug and strut your stuff.
Lets blow the doors off the "hop" world!
Drop Carla a note if you want to join in

December Carol is bringing back her yearly
 "Virtual Christmas Cookie Exchange" hop.
Start your baking and project making and share with us all!

Drop her a note if you want to play along!

That about covers the rest of this year...but don't you worry,
we are coming back next year, with 12 months of fun new themes!
