Galentine's Day with Island Batik

Galentine Day...
A day to celebrate with your gal pals!
The first of the Ambassador challenges, have begun.
Island Batik sent us these gorgeous fabrics,
with a challenge to make a "Galentine's" Day mug rug or post card.
Here's my "Love Letter" mugrug.
This pattern is from Angies Bits 'N Pieces.
I've long been a fan of her wonderful applique patterns.
You can see more of them

It seemed like just the perfect little rug...
For us to share a bottle of wine and some truffles over.
Oh, oh...my secret is out!
Yes, my gal pals love a little bit of vino from time to time.
No matter what your favorite cuppa is...
Enjoy it with your gal pal!
til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'

  1. Hi Joan this is gorgeous, well done my friend on your beautiful finish xx

  2. Your mug rug is really sweet. Love Angie's design in your Island Batik batiks.

  3. So much fun - your mug rug, chocolates and a little wine (probably some whine too)!

  4. Very cute, great having the hearts spilling out of the envelope.

  5. Perfect project for those yummy fabrics - well done!

  6. I drink my vino out of a tea cup every night with dinner. (It's so much easier than balancing a stemmed glass). It looks great on a mug rug, like they were made to be a set. Yours is great. You deserve a drink now.

  7. Oh Joan, how sweet of you to make this darling mug rug in honor my birthday!! LOL It is adorable! I love mug rugs!

  8. it's lovely! Even more so with the addition of those Lindt chocolate!!

  9. What a cute design. Thanks for sharing!

  10. That is very cute - lots of fun hearts.

  11. Excellent Island Batik challenge for Galentine’s celebrating. Super cute mug rug for those glasses of wine and some truffles. Happy Galentine’s Dear...xo

  12. Perfect creation! Now, be honest, was the wine before, after or during the creative process??

Thanks for stopping by today. Your comments really do make me day!
