Fall is in the Air with Thermoweb

I love this time of the year, when the temperatures drop and there is a chill in the morning air.

It's time to put some of those warm autumn colors into the garden, with this fun
"Fall Flag".

As my garden struggled to make it's last blooms for the year, I knew it was time...

... with just these few supplies, you can turn any of your fabric projects into outdoor decorations.
HeatNBond EZ Print Lite, is a no trace way for fusible applique.
Just pop a sheet into you printer and hit the print button.
It's so easy.

HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl will protect fabrics from all of the elements. You can add up to 3 layers, depending on the amount of protection you are looking for. It paints on easily with a brush and cleans up with water.

Check it out over on the Thermoweb blog HERE and download my free pattern.

I have to share what I woke up to last week...

If these fall colors don't melt your heart.

Happy Fall Y'all

Celebrate with a Bang Garden Flag

Show off your patriotic side with this fun garden flag.
Another, in my year of flags with Thermoweb.
With a few supplies, you will be on your way.
The free pattern is HeatNBond EZ Print Lite
ready. That means no more tracing. Just pop a sheet in your printer and hit print.
Cutting lettering has never been so easy, with Crafter's Edge dies and the Crossover II die cutting machine. I absolutely love this system. It allows you to see what your cutting and takes up considerably less space the other dies.
I have included similar lettering in the pattern if you don't have these dies.
Once your appliques are cut, you just press, stitch and your ready to waterproof it
with HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl.  It paints on easily and cleans up with just water.
You can download the free pattern on the "Thermoweb" blog HERE today!

Hope your 4th of July is a blast!

Dracula Garden Flag

It's never too early to start thinking about Halloween now is it?
You know what a crazy ole bat I am, over this holiday!
LOL!!

I'm just as crazy about that, as I am garden flags, right now
thanks to...

I can take my fabric projects outdoor and not worry about the weather.

You choose the number of coats you need
1 coat - water and stain-resistant
2 coats - waterproof and stain-resistant
3 coats - water proof and stain-resistant with a semi-gloss oilcloth finish
It paints on easily and your brush cleans up with water.

Letters have never been so easy to cut, when using "Crafters Edge" dies and the Crossover II cutter.
The dies are all individual, making it easy to mix and match in one cut.
The Crossover II machine has pressure settings that makes cutting 1 layer of fabric as easy as cutting 4-5 layers at a time.

That makes this little guy one happy little "sucker"!
Get it?
Dracula...sucker
Ok, I really need to go back to my day job.

You  can find my free pattern over on the Thermoweb blog

Thanks to the fine folks at Thermoweb, you will be seeing flags popping up throughout the year.
I hope you join in on the garden flag revolution!

Don't Worry...Bee Happy

I have always been captivated with "barn quilts" but I have nowhere to put one.

With the advent of  HeatNBond Liquid Vinyl my problem was solved.
I can make waterproof garden quilt/flags.
I have lots of room in my yard for flags and I found the perfect stand...
This is  “Gray Bunny Garden Flag Stand” from Amazon. It is 51” X 15”. The top arm swings open to allow you to load your flag. That holds a really nice size flag and great for changing them out montly, seasonally, or whenever the spirit moves us.

A few simple supplies and your on your way!
I love using my Crafters Edge dies. Lettering has never been so easy.

You can download my free tutorial and pattern over on the ThermOWeb blog
If I have you hooked, you can find this cool flag stand
HERE for under $20.
Oh, and keep in mind I may have suggested more to come soon!
LOL!!
What holiday is approaching?
Hint, hint, winky, winky!

Keep in mind flags are two sided, if they can be seen from both sides. If not, you can easily put a plain backing on them...or you can back it with a completely different flag. Oh the possibilities.
Think about that for awhile, and I will see you again soon, on the ThermOWeb blog!

Waterproof Re-Usable Tote and a Give-Away!

Are you a warehouse shopper? Costco and Sam's Club seem to always be on my radar, but I hate hauling everything home in boxes, because then  I have to find a way to get rid of them.

Years ago Sam's Club had huge reusable tote bags that were awesome...but can you find them now?
Oh heck no. So I went to work and made my own bags.

But wait... I just doubled it's duty with

Not only do I have a super strong reusable tote bag for my warehouse shopping, but I've just made it waterproof with this new product. By applying it on both the inside and outside, I'm beach ready.  The waterproof coating on the outside, keeps water out and on the inside it contains all your wet beachwear.

AND

No worries about leaking meat packages and dirty shopping bags, you can wipe out the bag with disinfecting wipes or throw it in your wash machine using cold water.
Did I mention the bag is huge?
The bottom is 11" x 17"
which also makes for a great size tote when you going to a pot luck.

Why double handles?
The short ones make heavy bags easier to lift and move.
The longer ones make it easy to carry on your shoulder.

It's fun and easy to personalize and dress up your bags with Crafter's Edge.
The Posey Basket and Posey Flowers Set 1 was the perfect way to bring a little summer fun to my bag.
Don't forget the Crossover II Die Cutting Machine is on sale for 25% off this month.
The price automatically adjusts itself in your shopping cart.
Check it out

You can find the "free" tote bag pattern over on the Thermoweb blog
Check out what Thermoweb is giving away to one lucky USA resident.
Leave a comments telling me what project you would use Liquid Vinyl on.

One winner will be chosen by Rafflecopter, Monday July 26th.
